William John “Bill” Lee, Jr. of Forest, VA and formerly of Virginia Beach, VA went to heaven on May 2, 2022. Born on November 8, 1939, in Sheridan, WY. He was the son of the late Avis E. “Willy” Williams and Georgia Mae Williams.
He served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1965. He worked at the Norfolk International Airport for 32 years. He was an Eagle Scout, Assistant Scout Master, loved camping with his sons, and collecting scout memorabilia. He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy B. Lee; his five children, John (Dawn), David, Michael (Hazel), Joseph (Teresa), and Daniel (Micah) Lee; and five grandchildren, Kimberly, Jackson, Wyatt, Kylie, and Orion Lee.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Isaiah House 117.
A Funeral Service and celebration of Bill’s life will be conducted at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. William Cox, IV officiating.
