Uncle Wayne, you will be missed immensely. Your vibrant humor and immersive love will be missed by so many, myself Included. I know with the beautiful heart you possessed you’re within the amazing presence of the divine Lord. May your eternal slumber be one of immense peace and be as beautiful as your soul. I know you were guided to the very end. During spring morning and summer nights may your memory envelop of all. Psalms: 48:14 “For this God is our God, forever and ever; He will be our guide even to the very end” Rest peacefully, Uncle Wayne ♥️

JoAnn, Wayne, Tim, Quintin, Kenysha, Family I'm sorry for your loss. Heartfelt condolences to you and the Family. We don't see each other much but know that we love you all and you are always in our thoughts and heart. Wayne was a kind, caring, loving, happy, respectful, ambitious, hardworking family man. Always had a smile and cheered you up when you were sad. Always lending a helping hand when he could. He loved family, friends. I remember being over at the house with Consuelo (Conchi) talking, laughing, eating, looking at photo albums of our family remembering the ones gone on. Wayne, JoAnn showed nothing but love, hospitality. We loved Wayne but GOD loved him more. Cherish all his memories keeping them close in your hearts. Rest In Heavenly Peace Cuz. Love you all Brenda, Conchi, Family

My uncle Wayne, he wore many hats. Father to many in the city. Travel long highways to make his presence was known that he was thinking of you. Always did what he say he was gonna do. I remember we laughing about he be glad with Aunt Joann move back he was gonna slow down. He always had something to do. Never let any grass grown under his feet. I know you up there telling somebody what to do and how to do it. Your presence will be missed for sure. But you are forever in my heart.

Wayne, I will always remember your love, kindness, acceptances and most of all your smile and happiness, that was you! Thank you for being a wonderful cousin and supporter during difficult times. Sitting beside me, you would make small talk, making me smile! When everything was over, your big strong voice could be heard singing above everyone! I felt that brotherly love, just like, my brother Butch, was sitting right there beside me, letting me know, everything would be alright. Yes! When We All get to Heaven, what a day of Rejoicing that will be, When We All see Jesus, We'll Sing and Shout the Victory! You would put on your hat and leave. This time, you will be wearing your Crown of Glory and singing with all those who have gone on before us! Love to all our family, and may our Heavenly Father wrap His Loving arms around you and shower you His Peace! Love, Wanda Chambers Campbell, Karen Chambers Graves, Bernetta Chambers Pinn and our families.

Uncle Wayne was more than just an Uncle to some of us...He stepped in and took over when we didn't know it. He was always there to listen and encourage you. His home on Florida Ave was a haven for us all. Many fun memories were made. Riding in the back of your station wagon, holding on for dear life as you rounded the corner. Riding in the van going to football games and many more memories I could add. Life will not be the same without you. I love you. I will miss you. And until we meet again. Rest well Uncle Wayne.
