Walter Henry Stuven, of Lynchburg, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 73.
He was the loving father of Kerry Stuven Frankfort (Patrick) and Karen Michelle DeGeronimo (Michael) and the cherished grandfather to Asynith Lynn and Lynnie Rae who were the light of his life. Survivors also include his brothers, Henry and Rick; and his sister, Linda.
Walter was a proud Vietnam War Army Veteran and a retired New York City Police Officer, who was loved by all.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Riverviews Artspace, Gallery 109, 901 Jefferson Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society or Elizabeth’s Early Learning Center.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
