Vicky DeLong Chisom passed away on May 20th, 2023, with her family by her side after a battle with cancer. Her son, Caleb, proceeded her to Heaven.
She was a loving and exemplary wife, mother, grandmother, and servant of Jesus Christ. She was very committed to homeschooling her children and teaching them about her Savior. She enjoyed creating delectable baked goods, playing the piano, and being involved in her church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the following organizations: IBJM (https://www.ibjm.org/), Frontline missions ( https://frontlinemissions.info/ ), or Rapidan Baptist Camp (www.camprapidan.com).
A gathering of family and friends will take place Monday, May 22, 2023, at Grace Memorial Baptist Church from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A funeral service and celebration of Vicky’s life will be conducted at 10:30 am Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Grace Memorial Baptist Church with pastor Greg Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
