Tom and I worked together for years. Best memories are working with him at the old parcel post annex. He could really unload a tractor and trailer fast on that old cold dock. Tom was an above average worker without supervision. My condolence to Sandra and family . Jim Woody

My prayers and condolence to Sandra and family. I was honored to work with Tom for many years at the Lynchburg Post Office. He was a great man to look up to. May the great memories you have of Tom get you through this difficult time and knowing that one day there will be a big reunion in heaven.

I had the privilege of working with Tom for many years at the United States Postal Service. He was a man of few words but many expressions that spoke louder than words. He listened, taught, guided and set the example. His love for his wife Sandra and his family was in everything he did. He will be missed by all that knew him. I extend my compassion and prayers to Sandra and family.

My condolences to the Scott family. I had the privilege and honor to serve with one of the long serving members of the 2-116 Bn. SFC Scott was a mainstay of the logistics for the Bn for years who made sure our logistical support planning and execution was always done properly. RIP Tom

I’ll so sorry for your loss of Tom. He was kind, caring and loving. He was able to survive and appreciate all the women that were in his immediate and extended family. Maybe that is why I remember him as being quiet.. he had no choice.. Love to all of you❤️❤️
