Sue was born on February 9, 1927, in Lynchburg where she spent most of her life. Sue was actively involved at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church, Lynchburg Women’s Club, The American Cancer Society and many other civic organizations in Lynchburg. The family would like to thank the staff at Bentley Commons for all the care and love that she was shown while she lived there, Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their care in her last weeks and all of her loving and dear friends that were a large part of her life.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church, at 12 noon, Saturday, June 15, 2019, with the Rev. Ian McManamey officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
