Steve Lonzie Fields, 59, of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was the husband of the late Marlene Kaye Whittaker Fields.

Born in Kingsport, Tenn., April 26, 1958,  he was a son of the late Lonzie Fields and Mabel Morris Fields. He is also preceded in death by a brother, James Fields.

Steve is survived by three stepchildren: Shang Stanley and wife, Christie, Sabrinia Howell and husband Charles, Cindy Cannode; sisters: Carolyn Richardson, Patricia Arnold and husband, Walter, Amie Wonch, Laurie Henderson and husband, Kurt; brothers: Allen McGlockin and wife, Ann, Russell Hughes; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, is assisting the family.
