Ronnie Daniel Campbell, 68, of Amherst went to be with his Lord, on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was the husband of Sandra Reichard Campbell for over 40 years.

Ronnie was born October 30, 1953, in Lynchburg, a son of Doris Coleman Hartless and the late Everett Clayton Campbell of Amherst. In addition to his father, he is preceeded in death by his step­ father, Lannie Willard Hartless.

Ronnie retired from Meredith-Burda/RR Donnelley/LSC Communications Printing Company after 45 years of service and was a member of River Church in Madison Heights. Ronnie’s favorite things were spending time with his family, being at church, fishing, and hunting.

In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by his children: Matt Tyree and wife Donna Marie of Madison Heights, Brittany Baldwin and husband Mike of Amherst, and Nathan Campbell and wife Briana of Madison Heights, his siblings: Clayton Campbell (Debbie), Donna Moore (Teddy) all of Amherst, Jeff Hartless (Erica) of TN, and his twin sister Bonnie Stewart of Galax, his grandchildren: Ryker Baldwin, and Alec, Lora, Layna, Ava, Liam, and Asher Tyree. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights.

A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021, at River Church in Madison Heights with invites you to their home following the service for a time of fellowship and at any time before then.
