Robert Skyler “Skybuck” McConville, 17, of Forest, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018.

He was the son of Lewis McConville and Tammy Powell. Skyler was an avid hunter, enjoyed playing football and baseball, riding four wheelers, and especially enjoyed running dogs with his father and friends. Skyler was a junior at Brookville High School and will be remembered for his love of food, but especially La Carreta.

Skyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cecil C. Powell.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandparents, Joyceann Powell, Robert L. McConville (Nancy), and Vera Claytor; aunts and uncles, Freddie Carter (Cindy), Sherry Ann Bach (Kenneth), Ashley Powell (Pat), Sara McConville, and Jeanette McConville Sheets (Jason) and an extended host of family and friends who will miss Skyler dearly.

To honor Skyler’s life, the family request that you please dress casual or show up in his favorite, camo.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church. Immediately following the service, Skyler will be laid to rest at one of his favorite places, his family farm.
