Patricia Ann Reekie, 75, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was the loving wife of Ronald Lawrence Reekie for 55 years.

Born September 14, 1942 in Bridgeport, Conn., Pat was the daughter of the late Harold Grady and the late Dolores Grady O’Kane.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, James Grady. Pat was also preceded by her dear friends, Edward and Annette Moch, of Conn., and Diane Middlebrook, of Conn.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, William Reekie and wife, Lyn Reekie, of Colo., Diane Moch, of Forest, and Michael Reekie and wife, Karen Reekie, of Conn. Pat also leaves behind her 7 grandchildren, Brian Moch, of FL, Sarah Reekie, of CO,  Heather Pullias and husband, Jacob Pullias, of Lynchburg, Nicole Reekie, of CO, David Reekie, of CT, Dillon Reekie and wife, Brooke Reekie, of CA, and Sydnie Reekie, of CT. There aren’t many people in this world that have the type of personality that can touch the hearts of everyone around them, but Pat was one of those people. Pat radiated love and laughter everywhere she went. One of Pat’s greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. When she was not spending time with her family, she was playing with her beloved dog, Lily, watching TV, playing her favorite game, “Draw Something”, reading, spending time with her friends, and participating in many groups within the community.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Monsignor J. Kenneth Rush officiating.
