Mykle Darnell Saunders, age 42, died August 5, 2020 to complications of lymphoma cancer. His parents, Garnett Saunders and Darlene Simpson; and his grandmother, Emma Barnett preceded him in death.
He attended Lynchburg public schools. After high school he attended barbering school in Maryland where he excelled in his craft. Many people in Maryland and Lynchburg loved his barbering skills.
Mykle moved back to Lynchburg and held several jobs in various positions. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, especially during football season, being an avid Washington Redskins fan. Mykle will be missed by so many people.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Garnett Saunders; grandparents, Herman and Helen Saunders, Linwood (Mila) Tyler; devoted aunts, Lynette Tyler Daniels and Carletta Saunders; devoted cousin, Patricia Parrish; longtime companion, Monica Clark, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and his loving dog, Zoe.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
