Michael “Mike” White, 63, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. He was born on April 10, 1957 in Pittsylvania County, VA. He was the son of the late Raymond R. White, Sr., and Mrs. Marie Lindsey White. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Raymond R. White, Sr., a brother, Raymond R. White, Jr., and two sisters, Joyce Joseph and Carolyn Helm.

Michael loved sports, and his favorite sport was basketball. He played basketball in high school and college. He also played on several adult teams throughout Fairfax County. Michael enjoyed teaching and sharing his basketball knowledge with his 7-year-old grandson, Brandon.
Michael’s greatest treasure in life was his family. He was devoted to his immediate and extended family, providing love and support to all. He traveled every summer to Danville, VA to attend his family reunion, and never missed a family reunion in all 50 years. He enjoyed sharing stories and memories of past events with his loved ones and friends. He was very knowledgeable about many things and always had a word of advice to share.
