Marianne Neufeld, 90, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021.
Marianne was born in Harvey County, Kansas on March 22, 1931, to Hienrich Toews Neufeld and Anna Harder Neufeld. Marianne was a retired minister with the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.
She is survived by her children: Michelle Penner of Lynchburg, Va., William “Bill” Penner (Kathy) of Chanute, KS, and Annie Caputo (AJ) of McLean, Va.; four grandchildren: Gregory, Rebecca, Owen, and Abigail; and two great-grandchildren: Emmaline and Enoch.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Abraham and George, and her sisters Margarette, Helena, Gertrude, and Ruth.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
