Her funeral will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Thomas Road Baptist Church in the Pate Chapel at 11 a.m., The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Tree of Life Cemetery.

Linda Wilson Adams, 70, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 30, 2021, at home, after a prolonged battle with severe lung disease.  She was the precious, loving wife of Rev. Michael L Adams for 53 years.

She was born in Birmingham, AL.  She and Mike were married on June 29, 1968.  She received Jesus as her Savior and Lord in July of 1975 at Parkview Baptist Church in Lake City, FL., as did her husband, Mike. She received her Associates of Arts degree at Lake City Community College in Lake City, FL in 1980.

A few years after receiving Christ, they surrendered to God’s call to ministry.  She was a faithful pastor’s wife and valuable partner in the ministry.  Above all she was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother.  She was better known as “Mamaw” to her nine grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Rev. Michael L Adams; son, Michael Adams, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Juliet Adams, daughters, Rebecca Adams, and Angel Phillips; nine grandchildren: Sierra Aragon, Christian Aragon, James Michael Adams, Ashley Adams, Caroline Adams, Tabitha Adams, Kysaundra Phillips, Patrick Phillips and his wife Carrie, and Randy Phillips. She is also survived by her sister Sue Reeves and a number of nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Annie Wilson, her brothers Billy and Charles Wilson, and her sister, Carol Norris.

Her funeral will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Thomas Road Baptist Church in the Pate Chapel at 11 a.m., The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Tree of Life Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love, support and encouragement during this time of grief.
