Dr. Obenour gave me sight when I was 18 months old. Because of her I do not remember a time when I could not see or my glasses didn't work. She is the finest physician I have ever known. Until we meet again. Farewell

Dr. Obenour was my very first eye doctor when I was 14 years old in Houston in the 1980s. She was an amazing, caring woman. My mother had me on a waiting list to see her & after 6 months, we finally had an appointment. My mother & I were in Dr. Obenour's office for 14 hrs that day due to Dr. Obenour having several medical emergency patients & she kindly asked us to wait at her office if we could. We waited because we knew what a special doctor she was. Dr. Obenour finally saw me at 2am in the morning in her office & was able to diagnose my special eye conditions because I was so tired. It might have been missed during the day because the conditions are more prevalent when I'm tired. She was a very caring doctor & worth all the waiting. She was my eye doctor until I moved away for college. My thoughts & prayers go out to all her family & friends.

Linda was a wonderful friend and Doctor for the past 15 years. We were great company together and assisted each other many times. May God have mercy on her soul and judge her for the kind words and actions she gave to both rich and poor. She will be missed by many.

I had many wonderful discussions with Dr. O and learned a great deal from her. She had a quick wit which I appreciated. She also had a wonderful sister and my thoughts go out to her and the rest of the family.
