Kelly Sweares Goodman, 53, of Rustburg passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was the wife of Michael Lee Goodman (54) for 18 years.
Born on September 10, 1967, a daughter of Kenneth Sweares and Jewell Smith. Kelly was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church, enjoyed movies with her kids, all arts, and crafts, decorating for holidays, needle point and knitting.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three sons, Marcus Lee Goodman (27), Matthew Lee Goodman (17) and Kevin Andrew Goodman (14), her dog Sissy Sue (14), a brother, David Sweares, a sister Kimberly Smith, and a host of loving relatives.
A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, Va.
