Jimmy Lee Wood, 53, of Lynchburg, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
Jimmy was born in Lynchburg, Va. on June 22, 1965. He was a son of the late Jerry Wood and Belle Nulter.
Jimmy was a talented Body and Fender technician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, and spending time with family and friends. His heart belonged to his wife, Mary, his children, and his grandchildren.
A special thanks to Centra Hospice and Bernadette Platt for the care given to Jimmy during his illness.
A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. A reception will follow at Stonegate Villas Clubhouse, 325 Old Graves Mill Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502.
Family and friends will forever love and miss him.
