I feel very lucky to have worked with Jerry for a lot of years while he was with BWXT. He was always professional, but quick with a joke, and showed such a kind spirit. He talked about his family often and you could feel how much he cared for them. All of us at Master Engineers will miss him!

So sorry to hear about the passing of Jerry. He was a helpful and cordial colleague during the working years at BWXT. Then, after retirement he was a friend at the BWXT Fitness Center. He will be missed.

Jerry was a great friend to so many in our BWXT running club. He faithfully showed up in the rain, the heat, and the cold. He always had a smile, kind words, and a positive attitude. He brought treats to celebrate birthdays and never missed an opportunity to bless others. He will be profoundly missed.

Rosie and Family, I just heard of Jerry's passing on the PCA blog and I can't tell you how saddened I am. When I joined the PCA, you and Jerry were one of the bright spots in any event and I so very much enjoyed hanging out with ya'll. I was nervous and a tad frightened to show up at the events but you and Jerry were always so inviting. Always put me at ease. I did not go to a lot of events but when I did, I always tried to find you and Jerry. What a gentleman. He will be missed. Take the best of care and hopefully I will get to see you and my cousins soon. Love, Dave Tuck

Dear Rosie and family, I send my sincere condolences to you, Rosie, and the children. I’m a widow myself and have been where you are now. I fondly remember our youth together at Marsh Memorial and seeing you and meeting Jerry at the BHS 60’s lunches. May the Lord bless you and keep you during these difficult days.

I only knew Jerry from his association with Old City Cemetery as I was a fellow Volunteer Docent. Jerry impressed me as a very positive and caring person. I certainly knew about his knowledge and love of Railroads! He loved to give tours of our WWI Railroad Station and he was always available to share his knowledge without much notice! He will be deeply missed among the Volunteers and Staff of Old City Cemetery! Rosie and family, may God wrap you in the comfort of your many memories of a good and caring man.

Dear Rosie and family: I am a fellow Volunteer Docent at Old City Cemetery. While Jerry and I never actually volunteered at the same time, I knew who he was and I was very aware of his knowledge and love of Railroads and their history. He was willing to give tours on short notice and he was always faithful in being there on Mondays! I always appreciated Jerry's positive attitude and outlook on life. He will be very much missed at Old City Cemetery, particularly among the Volunteers. May God surround all of you with good and caring memories both in the future and as you gather to Celebrate his life!
