Mrs. B, Tommy and Elizabeth - I am so very saddened by the loss you have suffered. It is only in knowing the sufficiency of grace, imparted by Giver of all good and perfect gifts, that we can find the most profound hope in our sorrow. We know we are but dust. We are poor and frail. We are but a vapor - "a poor player that struts and frets his hour on the stage and then is heard no more." But we give thanks to God, who in his sovereignty, chose us in him before the foundations of the earth. We look forward to a blessed reunion with our Coach, husband, father. The lives, you and Coach B. have touched over your decades together can hardly be numbered. I am proud and eternally grateful to be one of them. We all share in your pain, and I, for one, rejoice in the hope that lies before us. I pray that God will turn your mourning into dancing in time and give you his immeasurable comfort all the while - till we meet again, and our eyes will be dried, permanently. Love you all.

Mrs. Bentley, Tommy, and Elizibeth, each of you and the rest of your family are in my prayers and my constant thoughts these past few days. Your friendships have meant so much to me over the years. Know that you are dearly loved and cared for. Mr./Coach Bentley was more than my coach, than the husband of my English teacher, and more than the father of my friend Tommy and Liz, he was a mentor to me. My life was positively impacted because of him and his life. May the Lord give you all peace, rest, blessing, and a stillness in knowing that He is God in the way only the Lord can. Psalms 46 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. 6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. 7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah 8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, how he has brought desolations on the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. 10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah All my love and deepest of condolences to you, Andy Farkus

Dear Carrie, I am saddened to learn of Tom's passing. I don't have words that will adequately express my feelings, but I want you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. May the God of all comfort be especially close to you as you travel through the heartache of this chapter in your life's story.

Dear Carrie, and family of Tom, it was a real shock to hear of Tom's passing, and we want you to know you and the family are in our prayers. Our hearts go out to you in the loss of the love of your life. Tom was a very special fellow. To me, he was friend, co-laborer with Christ, co-worker at Special Metals, and much more. He will be missed. Much love, Lloyd and Gale B.
