Gilberto Paul Olivas III, 49, of Forest, VA, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Born Friday, December 01, 1972, in Tucson, AZ, Gilberto, also known as Gil, Paul and Paco, was a son of Diane Katherine Martin Sullivan and Gilberto Jose Olivas, Jr.

In addition to his mother Paul is survived by two daughters Hannah Jane and Sara Grace Elizabeth Olivas and a son Hunter White (Alexia); siblings: Joshua J Olivas (Tracy), Jessica Keogh (Terry), Christina Wheeler (Kris), Melissa Tucker (Lee), Robert Sullivan (Jessyca), and Maria Olivas Sayre; nephews and nieces; Morgan Evans and Micah Olivas, Lucas and Grant Wheeler, Bailey and Cole Tucker, and Britlyn and Bennett Sullivan;  uncles and aunts, Douglas Martin (Katy) and Rosy Cunningham (Allen): cousins, Dawn Sloan, Brian Bott (Melissa), Kyna Martin, and Sarah Martin; and grandson, Zachary White.

Paul was preceded in death by: his father Gilberto Olivas Jr., Grandparents, Jane M Reinheart, David L Martin.

Paul was outgoing, a friend or brother to all who knew him.  His smile came from his heart.  It was contagious, filling his whole being and his eyes sparkled with love.  He was a lovable family man and he gave great hugs!  He loved his two beautiful girls, his country and Star Wars.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be conducted: Saturday January 22, 2022 at 2:00 in the afternoon at: Timberlake United Methodist Church with Pastor Matthew Laskey officiating.

Death may take a life, but it can never take from you the love that you have known because Paul was in and a part of your life.  A part of him will live on in each of you.  As you live on in your life, strive to allow his love and light to shine in and through you in all that you do and all that you strive to become.  We will miss him very much.  May your memories bring you comfort and joy today and always.
