Gary Steven Cook, 69, of Lynchburg, VA, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019.  He was the husband of Marilyn Sue Hoffman Cook.

Born Sunday, December 11, 1949 in Union, AR, Gary was a son the late Billy Gene Cook and the late La Frieda Powell Cook DeBruin.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his children, Shannon Hahn, Amy Hicks, Melissa Norton, Joshua Cook and his wife, Aletha, and Kelly Douglas, step-children, Tamara Keller, and her husband, Steven, Tracie Hanneman and her husband, Scott, and Brandi Robicheaux.
