Evelyn Marshall Coffey Kennedy, 101 of Bedford was born July 16th, 1917 in Bedford Co. She passed away on October 23rd 2018. In addition to her parents Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, her son Ralph, her grandson, Steve, sisters Lucille and Francis, and brothers Percelle, Marion, and Dillard, Jr.
Evelyn is survived by her sister Hortense, her son Phil, granddaughter Melissa and her husband Dylan, and great-grandsons Matthew and Thomas; great grand-daughter, Crystal. She was called “Grandma” by everyone who knew her, her family far exceeded the margins of this paragraph and page. An active and long-time member of Center Point UMC, Grandma requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Center Point UMC in care of Janet Miles to 1116 Panorama Ln, Bedford, VA 24523.
A graveside service and celebration of Grandma’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. William Clark officiating.
