We prayed for a baby, but God gave us an Angel. Elle Paisley Sargent, beloved daughter of Darryl and Traci (Simone) Sargent and sister to Callie Paige, was born sleeping on November 22, 2018 at 6:55 p.m. at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg, Va.

Weighing in at 6lbs 10oz and measuring at 20.5in., she came in a pound heavier and an inch longer than her sister, also born at 37 weeks.

She is survived by her grandparents Gary & Ruth (Horst) Sargent and Jack & Sharon (Hammond) Simone; great-grandparents, Cornelia (Wanger) Horst and Bill & Mary (Orndorff) Hammond; and a collection of uncles, aunts and cousins, Andy & Andrea (Sargent) Brannon with Patrick & Caelynn, Melissa Sargent, Russell Sargent, Jeff & Lisa (Simone) Pearson with Mikayla, Gillian, Rebecca, David & Andrew, Tim & Tami (Miller) Simone with RileyAnn, Elana & Henry, Topher & Lori (Simone) Rife with Ariana, Chris & Wendy (Simone) Newcomb with Aziah & Penelope, and Karrie Simone; along with a multitude of loving family members grieving with us at this time.

There will be a memorial service in her honor on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Va. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. with a service immediately following.
