Edward Richard Ward, Jr., age 86, of Bedford, VA, died Thursday, March 18, 2021 surrounded by his friends.

Ed was predeceased by his wife, Eva Lee Ward; his son, Edward “Rick” Richard Ward, III; his parents, Edward Richard Ward, Sr. and Jessie Cook Ward.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Bailey, and his grandchildren.

Ed proudly served our country in the U.S. Airforce. He later worked as a pipeline welder in the water and

sanitation industry.

Interment will be held privately in Virginia Memorial Park.
