Dottie graduated from Montclair High School in NJ and served in WWII as a storekeeper in the US Navy.  She used her GI bill to attain her AA at Ithica Community College in NY where she met the love of her life, John Pesco.  After marrying in 1949, John and Dottie lived in Chicago; Syracuse; Parsippany, NJ; Stratford, CT; Hendersonville, NC; and Moneta, VA.  They ended their retirement years in the Elks National Home in Bedford, VA.  Dottie spent the last 14 months in the Bedford County Nursing Home.
