The day of September 12, 2021, Donald Wayne Coleman, Jr.  peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home to reunite with his grandmothers, Mary Horsley “Granny” and Zelma Coleman.

On April 14, 1993, Donald Wayne Coleman, Jr. was born to Kelley Helm, also a father figure Tarris “Tezon” Kornegay. Donald was preceded in death by his grandmothers Mary Horsley “Granny” known to all her grandkids and Ms. Zelma Coleman who also spoiled, loved, and helped raise Donald.

He leaves to cherish his mom Kelley Helm (Tarris); his sisters Lecorsha Johnson and Aurelia Helm (Marquise); his brother Torrest McDaniel; four nephews Vincie Trevon Romeo and Jewelz; two nieces LaQuesta & Khalia; his Aunt Shelley Harmon and Uncle Gregory Major; two cousins Najwa Major and Cecily Jones; friend Quametria Carter and close friends who treated him like a brother Juan, Buck, Dee, Big Man and Tez and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Kelley Helm and family would like to thank everyone for all acts of kindness of love and prayers shown to them during this time of bereavement. 

A celebration of Donald’s will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
