Daniel Wayne Walker, Jr. 21 of Madison Heights, VA, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Born in Lynchburg, VA he was the son of Daniel Wayne Walker, Sr. and Jessica Mitchell Walker.

Daniel was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He had a true passion for cars and worked as a mechanic for Kevin’s Towing. Daniel was a wonderful father, son, grandson, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, left to cherish Daniel’s memories are his son, Cole Ray Walker; siblings, Nathan Walker, Kayla Walker, and Ajay Walker; grandparents, Margie and Timothy Duff, Wanda Wright; a special grandpa Ronnie Ramsey; girlfriend, Whitney Cantrell; uncles, Eddie Duff, Brandon Duff, Greg Duff; aunts, Chrissy and Shawn Richey, Jamie and Jon Frank; special cousin, Daniel Staton Jr.; great-grandma, Shirley Wooldridge; great-uncle, Edward Waller; the mother of his child, Destiny White; special friends, Kevin Mays and Robert Scott.

The family will receive friends for a visitation and viewing at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm. A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Briarwood Memorial Garden.
