I have many wonderful memories of having Barb as my friend. We got to know each other when my Mom was working with her and the special needs communities. She was tireless and relentless in her true love; being Danny's mom. And she fought and aided many others in our quest to help us understand if we have special needs children or family members. My most beloved of memories being the years that I worked with her would have to be the challenger league where Danny played with my boys. And I used to run my brother around (special needs too) around the bases. Those were so wonderful times because of Barb! I cannot say how much of a big heart has left us. And, I am comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering. I feel for Danny, because just 3 years ago I lost my Mom and I know what he is going through right now. My heart goes out to all of the family of Barb Franz losing her. My best and God Bless Barb as she is with God now.
