Dear Bob and family, My heart feels sad for you all over Angela’s passing - and so unexpectedly. And at the same time joy for her great reunion with our Heavenly Father. Through the years I’ve learned better to hold two emotions as my family has faced great loss, too. I knew you and Angela back in Raleigh, NC just before you were married and for a time thereafter. Angela even came to visit me in Minneapolis when I moved there. Scott Pfief and I have reconnected most recently and have very much enjoyed reliving the blessing of knowing Angela and you, both, from our time together. She was an instrument of God’s love, acceptance and grace. May her joy and loving devotion, alongside God’s everlasting presence carry you all through your time of grief.

Dear Bob, Zack, Joel: My heart is heavy knowing that I haven’t seen my friend Angela in 30 years, which means I have never been able to meet you in person. I’m happy to know that her love for God was wholehearted and that she rests peacefully today. Love in Christ to you all, Russ, Glenna, Jon, and Amy.

Angela blessed my life as a homeschooling mentor. I met her several years ago, when she taught my son at Homefront and was blessed to have her teach my grandson at Homeschool First. I was privileged to work with her on committees and as a class mom. I loved her beautiful singing voice and her beautiful smile! I am so fortunate to have crossed paths with her!

Dear Bob, Zachariah and Joel, I am feeling thankful to have known Angela for a brief time. She provided diligent and kindhearted service to our community. Our family was specifically touched by her generosity when she adeptly coordinated the 2020 high school graduation ceremony and reception. I am saddened that others will not experience the joy of being directed by her gentle and capable leadership. Clearly, there is so much to celebrate because of how she lived her life and influenced others, and for that reason a great sense of loss is being felt too. I will be keeping you who love her most in my prayers. With love, Christine

Dn. Thomas, Zack & Joel, Christ is Risen! We were saddened, but heartened by the hope of the Resurrection in this Paschal Season, to learn of the falling-asleep of your beloved wife & mother, Sh. Angela. Please know that you are in our prayers at this time, and may the Peace of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ comfort and strengthen you. "With the Saints give rest, O Christ, to the soul of Thy servant, Angela, in that place of brightness, that place of verdure, that place of repose, where there is neither sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life everlasting!" May her memory be eternal! In Christ, V. Rev. Fr. Olof (Dean Emeritus) & Kh. Eva Scott St. George Orthodox Cathedral Charleston, WV
