Angela Dawn Weaver, 51, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. She was the loving wife of Robert L.S. Weaver.

Angela was born December 18, 1969, in Oklahoma City, OK, daughter of Russ Dameron and Glenna Neal Dameron of Front Royal, VA. Angela was a gifted home educator with Home Front Educators, Homeschool First, and St Athanasius Online Academy. She taught music, literature and theater, and wrote one of the plays she also directed. She was choir director of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Lynchburg for many years. Most of all she described herself as a wife and mother.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two sons: Zachariah Weaver of MacDill AFB, FL, and Joel Weaver of Lynchburg, sister Amy Patterson and her husband John, of Bristow, PA, and brother Jonathan Dameron and his wife Leslie of Pittsburgh, PA.

A Celebration of Angela’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church 521 Oakley Avenue in Lynchburg. http://orthodoxlynchburg.com/ with Father Alban Waggener officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

There will be time for viewing one hour prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church for the Angela Weaver Memorial Fund.

Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
