Adolphus Willie Pugh, 63, of Madison Heights, Va., died Wednesday, April 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolphus Pugh, Jr. and Sally Pugh; a brother, Clarence Donald Pugh; and sister, Carolyn Cox.
He was born on October 5, 1957 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Willie is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kimberly Pugh; two daughters, Tonya Pugh Mays (Timmy), Amy Perdue (Brandon); two grandchildren, Jaelyn Ross and Jase Mays; two step grandchildren, Katy Mays Butt (Zach) and Hannah Mays; five step-grandchildren; a very special niece considered a daughter, Tamara Brooks (Lee); lifelong devoted friend and race partner, Earl Brooks, Jr. (Paula); brothers, Roy Pugh (Doris) and Steve Pugh; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Pugh.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights, on Monday, April 26, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Meade Cemetery, Madison Heights at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 with Pastor Sam Stump officiating.
